Sinem is a Partner at Boden Law, focusing on international arbitration and technology law. Her extensive experience in international arbitration includes both commercial and investment arbitration. She has specific expertise in construction, energy and technology disputes. Sinem’s involvement in complex arbitration cases extends to representing multinational construction companies, energy firms, and sovereign states in various arbitration institutions such as the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC), and under the auspices of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) rules. Additionally, Sinem is often appointed as an arbitrator in complex legal cases.
In addition to her extensive work in arbitration, Sinem has a significant track record advising companies in the technology sector, including those involved in blockchain, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing technologies. Her legal counsel covers a wide array of areas from strategic alliance formation and compliance management to drafting and negotiating complex international contracts.
Sinem’s proficiency in technology law is not only limited to advisory services but also extends to her participation in various international conferences where she is often invited as a speaker. Her talks focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence and international arbitration, shedding light on the evolving challenges and opportunities in this area.
Furthermore, Sinem shares her expertise as a lecturer in the Business Law LL.M. program at Istanbul Bilgi University. In her role, she focuses on technology contracts and dispute resolution, placing particular emphasis on the evolving jurisprudence within this field. She also frequently gives lectures on advocacy skills and career building to students at Istanbul Bilgi University.
