Boden Academy held a round-table discussion on “Recent Developments in the Electricity Trade” with the attendance of Dr. Jan Haizmann (Managing Partner, Correggio Consulting/ Chairman of the Legal Committee, Director of the EFET EU Liaison Office, EFET) and with the moderation of Deger Boden (Managing Partner, Boden Law) on 26 July 2019.

In the meeting, among others, blockchain developments in Europe, smart contracts, EFET’s recently launched Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA), the differences of the CPPA from traditional power purchase agreements and the EFET General Agreement regarding Electricity, recent trends in power purchase agreements (PPAs), PPA needs in Turkey and scenarios when demand response is activated, lessons learned from 2018 electricity crisis in Turkey, Boden Law’s recently launched 2019 Close-out Netting Opinion and amendments in the Opinion were discussed.
